Project Management

Budget

Once the concept plan is agreed to, we prepare a budget for the construction of the garden. Where options for various materials are being considered, we can price these separately so the choices are clearly itemised. This provides you with a detailed breakdown of all the components of the garden with itemised figures for each aspect of the project.

We arrange to meet with you and go through the budget in detail and take time to answer any questions you may have.

Consents

Council regulations sometimes require that a resource consent and/or a building consent may be required for a project. Where this is the case, we work closely with independent planners and engineers as required to prepare the necessary documentation to make this process as smooth as possible.

Supervision

Each Strass project is carefully planned and managed to ensure the smooth running of the project. The design team is in regular contact with the construction crew and relevant specialists and makes frequent site visits to ensure the design is being correctly interpreted. We pride ourselves on a high level of attention to design detail during the construction phase.

We communicate regularly with our clients to ensure your project runs smoothly and that you have a clear understanding of what to expect at each stage of the project. This provides an opportunity to discuss any issues that may arise, view design details requiring confirmation and consider variations which inevitably occur during the construction phase.
