This character home included an existing pool area in need of refurbishment.
A palette of new materials and lively subtropical planting has reinvigorated this garden. A glass balustrade and reduction in the height of existing tiled walls enhances views to the pool area and a new spa provides for a great entertaining area for the family.
New stonework has reinvigorated a leaky stone waterfall at one end of the pool where new mature tree ferns underplanted with bromeliads create a shady glade.
At the upper level, a generous refurbished deck leads out from the house down broad steps to a paved courtyard warmed by an outdoor fire.
